We’re dedicated to the whole person, connecting struggling individuals, their families, and other loved ones to resources and opportunities that will change their lives for the better. We do this by focusing on strengthening individual well-being and promoting resiliency. CARE programming aims to reduce risky and unhealthy behaviors while encouraging positive community engagement and social connectedness.
Our parent education programs focus on strengthening communication channels between parent and child, reducing unhealthy power dynamics, and promoting positive discipline practices. CARE works directly with teenagers, helping them learn to manage their emotions and communicate more effectively. Similarly, CARE Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) can be a powerful tool for businesses to improve the lives of their workers (and those workers’ families) while increasing retention and decreasing liability.

Our Peer Recovery Coach Program We firmly believe that there are multiple paths to recovery—and CARE is absolutely committed to helping individuals find their path and stay on it. But whatever that path may include, we’ve seen that every path is easier to travel with the right support.CARE provides professional and emotional support to those seeking relief from substance use disorder. We work with people who seek us out on their own, as well as those referred by employers, through hospital emergency departments, the criminal justice and corrections system, and local substance use treatment programs. For more information and help, call CARE at 586.541.2273.Learn More
