Fred Hill serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the (MARA), where he plays a key role in building relationships between the organization and the communities it serves.

Biography

Fred Hill is a passionate advocate for recovery, community outreach, and personal transformation. Serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the (MARA), Fred works to connect individuals and families with resources, support systems, and opportunities that encourage long-term recovery and healing. His ability to relate to people from all walks of life comes from personal experience, perseverance, and a genuine desire to help others overcome the challenges he once faced himself.

In addition to his work with MARA, Fred also serves as a Recovery Coach with , where he mentors and supports individuals navigating the recovery journey. Drawing from his own lived experience with addiction, street life, and personal struggle, Fred brings authenticity, compassion, and accountability into every conversation and relationship he builds. Having spent years caught in destructive cycles, he understands firsthand the realities of addiction and the difficulty of finding a path forward. Today, he dedicates his life to helping others discover hope, purpose, and freedom through recovery.

Fred is also a respected Christian rap artist whose music reflects his testimony, faith, and transformation. Through powerful lyrics and honest storytelling, he uses music as a platform to inspire people who may feel lost, broken, or overlooked. His message centers on redemption, perseverance, faith, and the belief that change is possible regardless of someone’s past.

Alongside Greg Emelander, Fred co-hosts The Greg and Fred Show, a podcast focused on recovery, life experiences, faith, addiction awareness, and real conversations that encourage and challenge listeners. Together, they bring transparency, humor, and authenticity to difficult topics while creating a space where people can feel understood and encouraged.

Fred’s life is a testament to transformation and second chances. Whether through recovery coaching, community outreach, music, or podcasting, he remains committed to helping others break free from addiction and discover a better future.
